How to register, complete your profile and get verified

Follow these steps once. Verification is what makes your profile visible to other members, so it's worth doing carefully.

1. Register

Go to saathiforever.com/login and choose Register.
Enter your email address and press Send code. There's no password: we email you a 5-digit code.
Enter the code. You'll then read the Terms & Conditions. Scroll to the bottom, then tick the box to agree.
You must be at least 21 years old to use saathiForever.

2. Complete your profile

After you register, the Profile page guides you through seven steps, in this order:

Photo - your profile photo (see step 3 below).
Get verified - your selfie video (see steps 4 and 5 below).
Basics - your name, age, location and contact details.
Lifestyle - your everyday habits.
Gallery - up to 10 photos and 3 videos. Optional, and you can skip it.
Match preferences - the partner you're looking for.
Requirement card - describe what you're looking for in your own words.

Each step has Continue to move on. You can save and come back later, and the Profile page shows your progress. To update your profile at any time, open Profile and change any step.

When you finish the last step, you'll see that your profile is set up. It becomes usable once our Admin approves it, usually within 24 hours.

3. Profile photo

Choose one clear photo of only you, with your whole face visible and facing the camera.
Crop the photo by dragging it and using the zoom slider, then press Upload photo.
No group photos, sunglasses, masks or heavy filters. Ordinary glasses and hats are fine.
Your photo is checked automatically when you upload it, and an admin reviews it before other members can see it.

If you change your profile photo later, your verification is reset and you'll need to record a new selfie video to match the new photo.

4. Make your selfie video

Your selfie video is how we check that the person in your profile photo is you. It must be a short, real recording of you, made in good light.

Find good light. Face a window or a lamp, and avoid having the light behind you.
Use a plain background, with no one else in the frame.
Hold the phone or camera at eye level and look straight at the lens.
Record 5 to 10 seconds: look at the camera and say your first name out loud.
Keep your face fully visible for the whole recording. No sunglasses, masks, hats covering your face, or face filters.
Make sure your face matches your profile photo.

On the verification page, press Record. Your browser will ask for permission to use your camera and microphone. Allow both, because the video is recorded with sound. When you've finished, the recording plays back so you can check it.

If recording doesn't work in your browser, you can choose a video file instead (MP4, WebM or MOV). It must be a recording of you, made just as described above.

The selfie step: your profile photo, the Record button, and the Submit for review button, which stays off until a video is ready.

5. Send for verification

Open Profile and go to the Get verified step.
Record your video, or choose a file, and check the playback.
Press Submit for review.
Your status changes to Pending review. You don't need to do anything else while you wait.

A real person reviews every video, usually within a day. There's no automatic face matching. You'll get an email when the review is finished.

You can only have one request under review at a time. If it's rejected, the reviewer's note explains why, and you can record and submit a new video.

6. After review

Approved: your status shows Verified, and a verified badge appears next to your name. Your profile is activated, and you get a free membership period to start with.
Not approved: you'll see the reviewer's note on the verification page. Fix what it asks for, then record and submit again.

Once verified, there's nothing more to do on this step.
